When I stumbled across these biscuits they looked like dark almond crinkle cookies but they are nut free, and also milk free! Despite the fact there is no milk in them they do not have any bitterness and, as a dyed in the wool milk chocolate lover, these were incredibly tasty, so tasty in fact that I made 40 of them and within 10 minutes I had 20! Before you frown at me it was the whole family not just me who scoffed them!!!! LOL But they were definitely a hit and so quick if you blink you’ll miss it! Literally 20 minutes to prepare and 10 minutes to cook you could easily rustle these up for a tea time treat without breaking a sweat. They taste nice the day after, a bit chewier than the day before but certainly not stale, but they are so easy to bake on the day you have that flexibility of being able to rustle these up in a jiffy. Plus, they can be gluten free, lower sugar and even – drum roll – VEGAN! Honestly these things are so versatile, I love them!
